The project LANCET (Land-Sea Interactions in Coastal Ecosystems of Tropical China), which started in 2006, was developed within the scope of a cooperation between seven German and Chinese partners for improving the scientific knowledge about land-sea interactions in Hainan. Chinese and German scientists presented and discussed the final results of the LANCET project between 27. and 29. of September 2011. On the last day of the workshop, open research questions and ideas for future research cooperation were identified.
