PD Dr. Tim Jennerjahn from ZMT Bremen and Dr. Wu Rui from HAOFS attended the ECSA (Estuarine Coastal Sciences Association) conference in Shanghai, China. Dr. Jennerjahn gave a talk about “Tackling environmental change issues of China’s coastal aquatic systems through Sino-German collaboration projects ECOLOC and TICAS, on the example of Hainan”. He also acted as chair for the session “Interactions between estuarine / coastal processes and oceanic processes on the shelf”. This year’s conference was all about “Where Land Meets Ocean: The Vulnerable Interface”. More information are also available in the Program Booklet.
